Russian forces on Thursday, June 27, used FAB-500 (high-explosive aerial bomb) with a universal planning and correction module for strikes on Kharkiv for the first time. One of the aerial bombs hit the wall of a private residential building and did not detonate, according to the Telegram channel of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Law enforcement officials have determined that today, the Russian military for the first time used FAB-500 with a universal planning and correction module for strikes on Kharkiv. Preliminarily, the attacks were launched from the settlement of Mayskiy in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
One of the FAB-500 with a universal planning and correction module hit the wall of a private residential building and did not detonate. Emergency services experts have removed the explosive device and are extracting the unexploded ordnance from the courtyard.
At the time of the impact, a 10-year-old boy was inside the house, but he was unharmed.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv.

Shelling of Kharkiv
On June 27th, Russian forces conducted an airstrike on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. The attack resulted in five casualties, damage to private houses, buildings, and dormitories of a higher educational institution, as well as a building of the State Emergency Service.
Alexander Filchakov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, stated that the Russian forces used FAB-500 with a gliding and correction module for the first time to attack the city.
