President Biden Grabs Waffle House Snack After CNN Showdown

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden made a stop at a Waffle House after the CNN Presidential Debate on Thursday night to pick up food for staff and press before heading to Raleigh.

In a brief interaction with reporters, Biden reflected on his debate performance. “I think we did well,” he remarked.

Addressing calls for him to drop out of the race and concerns about his debate performance, Biden appeared unfazed. “No. It’s hard to debate a liar. The New York Times pointed out he lied 26 times,” he said.

When questioned about his health, the President acknowledged he was experiencing a minor ailment. “I have a sore throat,” he disclosed.

Biden’s performance at the CNN debate elicited criticism from several media networks, highlighting concerns about the state of the race. “There’s widespread panic among Democrats,” said NBC’s Kristen Welker.

NBC’s Chuck Todd said “Biden looks like the caricature that conservative media has been painting … you saw it before your eyes!”
