'Difficult one': A new club have inquired for 'sensational' player signed by Steve Cooper at Forest - Romano

Nottingham Forest’s summer window is looking set to be a real grueling one with some of their top players being linked with a move away.

Nuno Espirito Santo has already seen a number of players leave Forest this summer on a free transfer following the end of their contracts.

Two players have also come through the doors at the City Ground in the shape of Marko Stamenic – who has left on loan – and Eric da Silva Moreira.

Although Forest are one of the Premier League clubs who are in need of offloading some players this month to generate some money, Nuno will be keen to see his big guns stick around.

But it seems Evangelos Marinakis has now seen further interest land at his door for one of Forest’s top talents this summer.

Juventus enter the picture for Steve Cooper signing

Although Steve Cooper’s time at Forest ended last season after he was sacked from his post, the now Leicester City manager made a number of brilliant signings.

Players like Morgan Gibbs-White joined the club under Cooper’s watch, a player who has set Forest up nicely with huge value to the club on the pitch and potentially in the transfer window.

Although Forest may find themselves in financial limbo once again this summer, they have some big ticket players who could easily lessen their fears.

And there is one player, in particular, who is receiving a lot of interest this summer in their centre-back Murillo.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have now inquired about the “sensational” Brazilian centre-back over a potential summer swoop.

A number of Europe’s finest have now been in touch with Forest over the terms needed to secure the signature of the Brazilian centre-back.

Chelsea have already contacted Forest with the Premier League side keen to bring Murillo to Stamford Bridge over the coming months.

However, Murillo is a player who will not be leaving the City Ground easily with Forest having a big price tag on their 21-year-old.

Nottingham Forest PSR woes eased with Moussa Niakhate sale

Forest were one of the sides needing to balance their books before the 30 June PSR deadline and it looks like any concerns may have been eased.

Moussa Niakhate will be leaving the club this month having agreed a deal with Ligue 1 side Lyon for his permanent departure.

The deal between the two clubs has now been agreed with Forest set to bring in £20m for the Senegalese centre-back.

What this means for Murillo’s future will be interesting with one centre-back already leaving the club and their PSR concerns eased.
