Ukraine has already signed 20 security agreements with partner countries. Under these agreements, Ukraine will receive $60 billion annually for military support, according to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"Alongside our peace initiatives, we are strengthening cooperation with partners because only a strong coalition can ensure our victory. Ukraine has already signed 20 security agreements with allies, including the EU and the USA," said the Prime Minister.

Shmyhal added that signing security agreements is a unique development that opens new opportunities for Ukraine to cooperate in the defense sector and provides a foundation for future security in peacetime.

"According to these agreements, over the next four years, our partners plan to provide Ukraine with a total of $60 billion annually in military support," the Prime Minister said.

Security commitments for Ukraine

It is worth noting that last year, the G7 leaders agreed to provide security guarantees to Ukraine. Ukraine is signing separate security agreements with its partner countries for a 10-year term.

The agreements contain similar provisions, including support for Ukraine during the war and military, humanitarian, and financial assistance commitments. Additionally, allies pledge to support Ukraine's path to the EU and NATO.

However, each agreement includes individual commitments from countries based on their economic or military capabilities. On June 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed security guarantee agreements with the EU, Lithuania, and Estonia yesterday.
