The Bachelor saw Hannah Ann Sluss try to find her match on the big screen. However, she eventually found it in Jake Funk. The two sent out invitations to their Miami wedding – but ended up eloping.
Hannah Ann Sluss ties the knot
Hannah Ann Sluss has officially tied the knot with football player, Jake Funk. He got down on one knee back in 2023, and it wasn’t long before the two ended up making their relationship marriage-official.
The Bachelor star and her new husband got married in a private ceremony at a 12th-century castle in Tuscany. “We decided it would just be us and to really focus on the commitment,” she told People.
They also wanted to focus on the “significance of marriage”. She added, “It’s easy to get caught up in all the glitz and glam. So having our wedding just for us made the most sense and made it meaningful.”
She elopes after sending invites
She shared the invites in May, but their loved ones are not invited to the official ceremony, two years after getting engaged on the beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They “decided it would be just us” by June.
Hannah Ann sent “the wedding invitation of my dreams” out as she shared green floral invites. The invite read, “Kindly join us at the reception celebrating the marriage of Hannah Ann Sluss and Jake Funk.”
It added, The summer of two thousand twenty four at six o’clock in the evening. Miami, Florida. Cocktail attire.” The Miami-themed invites even had RSVP inserts, envelopes, and custom palm leaf seals.
Hannah and Jake’s blossoming love
Hannah announced her relationship with Jake in February 2022, just under a year before they got engaged in January 2023. A year and a half later, they are officially husband and wife.
The two are now celebrating by enjoying a honeymoon in Tuscany and Switzerland before heading back to Miami, where they will have a wedding celebration with family and friends next month.
“Our future is very unpredictable,” Sluss said. “We never know where we’re going to be living or what he’ll even be doing, so having a best friend to take on whatever life throws at you is what I’m excited about.”
