Ukrainian hackers have attacked several companies in Russia that support the war, including some that assist the occupying forces, according to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Activists from the BO Team cyber community and specialists from the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (DIU) continue to attack targets in Russia.
Over the past week, the hackers:
- Destroyed over 100 terabytes of data from OrbitSoft, a software developer with contracts with the Russian occupying army.
- Destroyed all data on eight servers of Orient Systems, a developer and supplier of navigation equipment. This company cooperated with Russian military equipment manufacturers, including UAVs.
- Destroyed all data on 19 servers of internet providers in the city of Nizhny Novgorod, LynkTelecom NN and Access Telecom. All subscribers of these providers received letters reminding them of the inevitable retribution for the war against Ukraine.
Other attacks by the DIU hackers
Sources from RBC-Ukraine reported that the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked several major internet providers in Crimea.
It was also recently reported that Ukrainian intelligence hackers attacked the servers of propaganda media, telecom operators, and the registration and control systems of the Crimean Bridge.
As a result, a traffic jam of cars formed near the bridge. The congestion increased sixfold within an hour, and by the next morning, about three hundred cars were in line.
