Joe Biden's campaign Saturday denied a report that he "is expected to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with family at Camp David on Sunday" after a problematic debate.

Biden has been called on to drop out of the race after he fumbled his words at the CNN debate versus Donald Trump. Raw Story reported this weekend that he was reportedly "meeting with his campaign co-chair in the Hamptons" amid the growing concerns about his age and mental state.

Later in the day, NBC News reported that "he and first lady Jill Biden are scheduled to join their children and grandchildren" at the pre-planned event.

The report quoted multiple unnamed sources about how Biden will only listen to his family about this subject. According to the report, one "person familiar with the dynamics said Biden will ultimately listen to only one adviser."

“The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady,” this person said, according to NBC. “If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course.”

Another anonymous individual reportedly said, “The decision-makers are two people — it’s the president and his wife,” and added, “Anyone who doesn’t understand how deeply personal and familial this decision will be isn’t knowledgeable about the situation.”

At the bottom of the article, there was an update:

"After publication of this report, a source familiar reached out to stress that the Camp David gathering was not a formal family meeting," the report states. “'Any discussion about the campaign is expected to be informal or an afterthought,' the source said. 'No one is sitting down for a formal or determinative discussion.'"

Still the Biden campaign squashed the report on social media.

"Yeah, no," Biden-Harris HQ wrote on X. "This was announced a week ago. Joe Biden is and will be the Democratic nominee."
