Full price breakdown of Manchester United new 2024/25 home kit

Manchester United have released the new kit for 2024/25, to a mixed response.

It is hard to get excited about new Manchester United kits, when they are released every single season.

The latest iteration is notable because it is the first to feature new sponsor Snapdragon, replacing Teamviewer.

It is once again produced by Adidas, giving the shirt a familiar feel. It’s clean, uncomplicated, and it’s red. Despite the usual PR spiel from the club about the thinking behind the design, there is not a lot to say.

The kit will undoubtedly be a top seller, Manchester United kits always are. But the cost of the kit will make some fans think twice.

Manchester United fan reaction

It is the kids’ prices that generate particular frustration among fans. If you have a child who wants a standard kit, with shorts, plus a name and number printed – that will set you back £100 (£60 shirt, £30 shorts, £10 personalisation).

One fan wrote on X: “Price of the shirts are scandalous!! Families are struggling with the cost of living, children wanting the new kit but parents not being able to afford it. I love Manchester United but this is unacceptable.”

Another added: “Petition for our kits to be 50% cheaper. Imagine the shirt sales. Ain’t nobody paying £120 for this.”

A third wrote: “Can’t get my head around kits getting so much more expensive yet they are all made from recycled materials.”

Another user on X added: “£55 for kids!! Who do they expect to afford this?”
