John Lydon and Totally Tina on stage at Newark Palace Theatre

A legendary frontman who changed the face of music and sparked a cultural revolution is set for the Palace stage.

John Lydon — aka Johnny Rotten — the frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd is bringing his spoken word show, I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right to Newark on July 2.

An icon, a revolutionary and an immortal, Lydon caused a political earthquake and transformed music through his extraordinary career.

He will talk about how he sees life, his career and there’ll also be a chance to the audience to have their questions answered.

The pyrotechnic, one-off tour will offer a glimpse into Lydon’s thoughts — he could be wrong, he could be right.

There will also be a pre-show meet and greet for those wanting to meet the star.

Also coming to the Palace Theatre is Totally Tina, a breathtaking tribute to Tina Turner.

The show will celebrate the life and work of the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll when it rocks into the venue on July 4.

Tribute act Justine Riddoch and her talented cast will get audiences shaking a tail feather as they explore the icon’s discography.

It will feature Tina’s greatest hits including What’s Love Got to Do With It and Simply the Best.
