The Paris Olympics 2024 are less than a month away, and the USWNT is gearing up for their action-packed schedule as they look to earn their first gold medal since 2012.
The U.S. Women's National Team has a storied history at the Olympic Games, earning the gold medal in 1996, 2004, 2008, and 2012. In the past decade, though, the Stars and Stripes have failed to even make a gold medal match, let alone add a fifth to their impressive collection.
Now, just three years after they took home bronze in Tokyo, the USWNT get another chance to bring glory to the USA, but without veterans like Alex Morgan and Julie Ertz on the roster. Before they can start dreaming of gold, though, they first must survive the Group Stage.
