Japan in the 13th century: The fearsome Mongol Empire threatens the island of Tsushima. An invasion is imminent. We slip into the role of the young samurai warrior Jin Sakai.

With a brave troop of warriors, he confronts the attackers, but all his valour is in vain - the samurai suffer a devastating defeat. As one of the last survivors, we now hold Tsushima's fate in our hands.

Since its initial release as a PlayStation exclusive in 2020, "Ghost of Tsushima" has sold millions of copies. The launch of "Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut" the following year included a wealth of improvements, including visual upgrades and additional content.

Three years later, PC gamers can now at last also fight the Mongols with Jin. To slip into the shoes of this young warrior, you'll need to utilize a wide range of skills.

Technique points earned by completing a mission can be invested in new skills - different fighting methods, better reflexes or tools such as throwing knives and smoke bombs: the list is long.

Whether on foot or on horseback, there is plenty to discover in this game world created by developer studio Sucker Punch Productions, and above all it's the stunning visuals that stand out.

The use of wind in the game not only contributes to the atmosphere, but also guides players through the colourful landscapes. In addition to the game environment, the realistic design of the characters in combination with the background music also ensures a special gameplay.

In contrast to its predecessors, the PC version allows you to customize the graphics of the game to your own liking using a variety of control options. In other words: Anyone who has always wanted to push their PC to its limits can now do so.

In addition, cross-play support means you can play with Windows PCs as well as PS4 and PS5 consoles, so nothing stands in the way of a shared adventure with other samurai. "Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut" is available now for PC and costs just under €60/$60.
