Arsenal really hit the lottery in signing Saliba in 2019

When Saliba signed for the Gunners five years ago, few would have expected the French defender to develop into the player we now see before as at the 2024 Euros with Les Bleus.

After two seasons of being immaculate in the Premier League, Arsenal should still be in awe over how lucky they got in signing Saliba in 2019, with the decision to sign the-then 18-year-old from Saint-Etienne worth every single penny.

With Saliba now one of the best in the world and only getting better, Arsenal will hope that the defender can continue to develop in the years to come, where the 23-year-old could soon become unstoppable.
