That’s because Chelsea confirmed the signing of Palmeiras youngster Estevao Willian last month.

The Blues have agreed a deal to sign the 17-year-old Brazilian attacker, but he officially joins them in the summer of 2025.

Estevao’s transfer to Stamford Bridge could end up costing a huge £51m fee (The Independent).

The right-winger is a super young talent with bags of skill and pace.

At this moment, he’s fully broken into the Palmeiras first-team side and his developing in senior football.

Brazilian media reacts to Estevao Willian’s Palmeiras display

Palmeiras beat Corinthians 2-0 in the early hours of Tuesday morning in a league match, which means they’re currently second in the table.

Estevao started on the right wing and played 80 minutes.

Here’s how national media reacted to the performance of Chelsea’s incoming teenager for current side Palmeiras.

Brazilian newspaper Globo wrote: “Estevao Willian – 7/10. Once again, he is the point of imbalance in Palmeiras’ attacking game. He pulls the marking, dribbles the defense and even risked four shots, being the one who risked the most between both teams. This time, however, he left without scoring his goal.”
