'It's now all completed': Fabrizio Romano says Man City have now signed 'special' winger

It looks like Manchester City have made their first signing of the summer.

In the transfer market, City are often better-placed to make superior transfers to a majority of other top clubs due to a multitude of reasons.

Not many clubs across world football can attest to being as successful as the English juggernaut has been during Pep Guardiola’s regime. As a result, several players’ heads are instantly turned when they receive an offer from the Etihad Stadium.

Furthermore, Manchester City have a recruitment set-up that seems to be only be rivalled by the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the past decade — judging by their incredible success rate when it comes to a bulk of their signings over that timeframe.

Fabrizio Romano provides Savio to Manchester City confirmation

As per Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have signed all the necessary documents to sign Savio — a major update in the highly-speculated transfer over the last few months.

Regarding the status of the move, Romano states: “it’s now all completed” while adding that despite several proposals to sell the 20-year-old, City’s intention was for him to play for them.

It was claimed on Sunday that the Sky Blues had no intention to send the youngster out on loan — despite Girona being “optimistic” about signing him on loan once again next season, with Guardiola’s side being blown away by his performances during the second half of the previous campaign.

Seems like Manchester City back Savio to reach the top

Considering Savio is inching towards being announced to the world as a Manchester City player — coupled with the fact that it has been reported that he will not be loaned out next season — the club seem to really believe in his talent.

The tricky winger — hailed as “special” by Girona boss Michel — scored and started for Brazil in their 4-0 demolition job of Paraguay in their second group-stage game in the Copa America.

The fact that the Troyes wideman is already a starter for one of the best national teams in world football indicates just how talented he is.

However, Manchester City seem to be aware of that being the case as they have harked back to the days of Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane by having two natural wingers in their side — with Jeremy Doku and Savio potentially being regular starters for them next season.
