Bayern Munich have given young talent Arijon Ibrahimović a new professional contract until June 2027, the Bundesliga club said on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old forward has been at Bayern since 2018, but spent last season on loan at Serie A side Frosinone. For the new season, he will be part of the squad led by new coach Vincent Kompany, the Bavarians said.
"The season in the Italian Serie A brought me forward as a person and footballer and I learned a lot. Now I can't wait to get started here," Ibrahimović said.
Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund added: "Arijon Ibrahimović was able to gain valuable experience at the age of just 17 last season – not just on the pitch – at Frosinone Calcio, in one of Europe's top leagues. That's brought him on enormously and now he's getting the chances to impress in our first team."
