Spain captain Álvaro Morata appears to have no intention to leave Atlético Madrid amid reports of a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

"I can't imagine what it must be like to win something in this shirt and I won't stop until I've done it," Morata said in a post on his personal and Atletico's Instagram account on Tuesday.

Morata played for Real Madrid 2010-2014 and arrived at Atlético in 2019 after spells at Juventus and Chelsea. He played again at Juve on loan 2020-2022, which made him miss Atlético's last title to date, the 2021 La Liga trophy.

Morata, 31, reportedly had an offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah who are coached by Spain's Michel.

He has a contract until 2026 but has complained that he is not appreciated in his home country.

"The easiest thing for me is not to play in Spain. For my life, for what I have to experience when I take to the streets in our country," he said at the start of Euro 2024 where Spain face hosts Germany in the quarter-finals on Friday.
