Russia's losses in Ukraine as of July 3: +1180 troops and 57 artillery systems

Over the period from 2 to 3 July, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,180 Russian invaders. The total Russian losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine amounted to 546,270 soldiers. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 16 tanks and 57 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to July 3, 2024, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - 546,270 (+1180) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 8123 (+16) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 15,583 (+17) units;
  • artillery systems - 14,712 (+57) units;
  • MLRS - 1115 (+1) units;
  • air defense systems - 876 (+2) units;
  • aircraft - 360 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 11,668 (+27) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2,336 (+1) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 19,850 (+63) units;
  • special equipment - 2,464 (+12) units.

Over the past day, Russia concentrated a lot of manpower in the Pokrovsk sector. As a result, the Russians lost 350 soldiers in the fighting.
