Today, Russian troops sent kamikaze drones and missiles on Dnipro. Dozens of people were injured and there were killed as a result of the Russian attack. Fires broke out in the city, and the blast wave and debris damaged shopping centers, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, petrol stations, residential buildings, and dozens of cars.

Russian attack
Russian troops used combined fire during the attack on Dnipro. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 5 Russian drones (a reconnaissance and a Shahedi) and 5 missiles in the region.
According to the Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk, Russia struck with 3 Iskander-K ground-launched cruise missiles, 4 Kh-59 guided missiles, and 5 Shahed attack UAVs. The main focus of the Russian attack, the general notes, was the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian defenders of the sky shot down all targets except for two Iskander-K cruise missiles.
Killed, wounded, and destruction
As of this moment, there are 47 injured (including a 14-year-old child) and 5 killed. A third of all the victims are in hospital. Most people have shrapnel wounds and cut wounds, bruises, and fractures. The condition of the two doctors is assessed as bad.
Several fires broke out in the city as a result of the attack, and there was destruction. In particular, the Apollo shopping center building was damaged, cars were smashed, shops and a coffee shop were smashed. A petrol station was also damaged. In addition, the facades and windows of three kindergartens and three schools were damaged. According to the city council, children and employees of educational institutions were in shelters.
At the same time, three medical institutions in the city were damaged. In particular, a piece of Russian missile debris flew into the intensive care unit of the children's hospital. One of the outpatient clinics was damaged, and the archive room in another hospital caught fire. No patients or doctors were injured.
Among other things, more than six apartment buildings were also damaged, with dozens of windows smashed.
4 July was declared a day of mourning in the city.

Citizens were warned that as a result of the Russian attack on Dnipro, temporary changes were made to the bus route scheme, namely:
- Route 34 Robocha Street - Uralska Street - Savchenko Street to Oleksandr Pol Avenue - Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Avenue and further along the route.
- Routes 87A and 106 instead of Robocha Street via Oleksandr Pol Avenue.
- Routes 87B and 155 along Antonovycha Street to Oleksandr Pol Avenue and further along the route.
- Routes 146A and 146B operate as a single route without a roundabout, from the intersection of Robocha/Kryvorizka Street in the direction of Kyivska Street to the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi/Tytova Avenue in the direction of Dmytro Yavornytskoho Avenue.
- Route 113 from TSUM to Nezalezhnosti Street.
Temporary changes have also been made to the operation of electric transport:
- Tram No. 11 runs to Enerhetychna Street.
- Trolleybuses A and B run via Oleksandr Pol Avenue.
- Trolleybuses No. 19 run to Kosmichna Square.
Zelenskyy's reaction
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has already reacted to another Russian attack on a peaceful Ukrainian city and published a video of the attack. According to him, all the necessary units of the State Emergency Service are now on the ground, and rescuers are helping all those affected.
"Only two things can stop this Russian terror - modern air defense systems and the long-range capability of our weapons. The world can protect lives, and this requires the determination of leaders. The determination that can and must make protection from terror the norm again," Zelenskyy stresses.
During the Russian attack on Dnipro, explosions were also heard in Zaporizhzhia. Russian troops also fired on Kryvyi Rih in an attempt to strike critical infrastructure. However, as the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, there were no killed or injuries in the city.
