Jorgen Strand Larsen now sends 23-word message on Instagram after becoming a new Wolves player

Jorgen Strand Larsen has today sent a message to supporters on Instagram after sealing his move to Wolves.

Strand Larsen has joined the club on an initial loan basis, and the move is to be turned permanent once he has made a certain number of appearances for the club.

It is thought Wolves will pay around £25 million once he makes the number appearances required.

Strand Larsen is a signing that many Wolves fans are really excited about, because the club have not had an out-and-out striker for a while now.

Sasa Kalajdzic was the last man brought in, but he has had horrendous injury luck.

But Wolves now have a new number nine to get behind – and he’s ready to get going.

Strand Larsen is a 6ft 4in striker from Norway and the hope is that he will be well suited to English football.

He is someone who does things you would expect from a typical big striker, such as holding the ball up, bringing others into play and battling centre-backs.

But Strand Larsen can also play. For Norway, he is no stranger to pulling out wide, with Erling Haaland operating through the middle.

It is going to be fascinating watching him, and the 24-year-old is very excited for his new chapter to begin.

The player has taken to Instagram today to send his first message as a new Wolves player. He did first pay tribute to Celta Vigo and thanked the Spanish club for all they did for him.

But in another post marking his arrival at Wolves, Strand Larsen said: “A dream coming true signing for this amazing club.

“Hungry and ready for the next years! See you all soon at the Molineux.”

Strand Larsen is the kind of player Wolves have been crying out for

Strand Larsen could well be the signing Wolves fans are the most excited to see when everything is said and done this summer.

Wolves did well in front of goal last season, with Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan both having great seasons in particular.

But Wolves have still needed that focal point up top, and there have been games where there just hasn’t been that player in and around the six-yard box to gobble up chances.

Strand Larsen has been signed to convert these chances, and ideally he will hit it off with the likes of Cunha and Hwang.
