Russian forces today, July 3, struck the Poltava region. As a result of the attack, one person was killed and several others were injured, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin.
"Unfortunately, there are casualties as a result of the Russian attack. According to preliminary information, one civilian has been killed, and three others have been injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Pronin, one of the injured is in critical condition.
He added that as a result of the Russian strike, a school and a kindergarten were damaged.
What preceded it
Today, on July 3, in the afternoon, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a high-speed target in the direction of the Poltava region. After that, explosions were heard in the Poltava community.
Head of the Regional Military Administration Pronin reported that there were hits in the region. Later, the East Air Command reported the destruction of a Kh-59 missile over the Poltava region.
Several weeks ago, dozens of civilians were injured in Poltava due to a Russian missile strike.
