CLEARWATER, Fla. \- Get ready for a red, white, and blue spectacular! The beloved Clearwater Celebrates America tradition returns on Thursday, July 4th at Coachman Park (300 Cleveland Street).

Celebrate Independence Day in Style

"The Clearwater Celebrates America event is one of our city's most cherished annual traditions," said Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector. "The event brings together the entire region at our beautiful waterfront to honor our nation's history, remember the brave men and women who have fought for our country and celebrate our freedom and independence."

Festivities for All

This free event offers something for everyone:

  • Spectacular Fireworks: Witness one of the largest fireworks displays in Tampa Bay, illuminating the night sky!
  • Patriotic Concert: Enjoy a star-studded performance by The BayCare Sound Symphony under the new covered music venue, The BayCare Sound.
  • Family Fun: Keep the little ones entertained with fun activities in Coachman Park.
  • Live Music & Entertainment: Street performers and live music will keep the energy high throughout the day.
  • Food Trucks & Silent Disco: Enjoy delicious food truck fare and end the night with a silent disco party at the Promenade Pier.

  • 4:00-4:30 PM: Buskers & Live Entertainment
  • 4:30-5:00 PM: Declaration of Independence Reading
  • 5:00-6:30 PM: Southbound 75 Band
  • 7:00-8:00 PM: Alto Moon Band
  • 7:00-9:00 PM: The BayCare Sound Symphony Concert
  • 9:30-9:45 PM: Fireworks Display over Clearwater Harbor
  • 9:40-11:00 PM: Silent Disco Party at Promenade Pier
  • 10:00-10:30 PM: Fire Performance

Important Information:

  • Free Event: No tickets are required.
  • Bridge Closure: The Memorial Causeway Bridge will close to all traffic at 9 PM and reopen when safe. Expect delays.
  • Parking: Parking information can be found on the City of Clearwater website: https://www.myclearwater.com/Parking-Transportation.
  • Boat Viewing: Fireworks can be viewed from boats, but there will be a closed perimeter around the park. Docking restrictions apply at Clearwater Harbor Marina from 5-10 PM.
