Ukrainian and Dutch Foreign Ministers discuss accelerating Patriot deliveries to Ukraine

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba had his first phone conversation with the newly appointed Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp. They discussed the delivery of Patriot to Ukraine, Kuleba wrote on his X account.

During the conversation, Kuleba thanked his counterpart for confirming that the Netherlands will continue to provide unwavering support to Ukraine. In particular, they discussed military assistance and sanctions against Russia.

"I particularly emphasized the necessity of a swift delivery of the announced Patriot air defense system to Ukraine and expressed appreciation of the continuity of Dutch leadership in all respective areas," added Kuleba.

Patriot for Ukraine

Ukraine will receive one of the Patriot systems from the Netherlands.

Recently it became known that Ukraine, with the help of the United States, may be preparing another agreement to strengthen its air defense. The idea of supplying Israeli Patriot systems is being discussed.
