Report: Chelsea have made bid to sign ‘major talent’ this summer, he will only cost £17m

Chelsea are surely set to kick into gear when it comes to signings in the coming days, as pre-season approaches at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca is preparing for his first campaign as a manager in the Premier League, and thoughts will already be on who he feels warrants a start in the huge opening game against Manchester City.

As far as new signings go so far, there is a good chance Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall gets the nod to start in midfield after his fantastic campaign under the boss at Leicester last season.

While some targets remain unknown at this stage after missing out on the likes of Michael Olise, it has been reported that they have tabled a bid to sign one player.

Chelsea make bid to sign Wesley

According to Foot Mercato, the Blues have made an offer to Corinthians to sign winger Wesley, with West Ham also making a bid.

Journalist Sebastien Denis has claimed that the Brazilian side are holding out for a fee of around £17m to see him leave the club.

The 19-year-old has already been described as a ‘major talent’, with plenty of sides seeming to register an interest in bringing him in.

Chelsea have been busy in that area of the world recently, and have already completed a deal for arguably their most promising signing in recent memory.

Chelsea announce signing of Estevao Willian

The Blues have announced a deal to sign Estevao Willian, with him joining up with the first team squad as soon as next summer.

There is plenty of excitement about his future in the game, with Brazilian football legend Neymar already saying he is going to be a star.

Wesley came up against Estevao the other night, with the latter’s side coming up on top off the back of another inspiring performance from the youngster.

He is certainly showing to Chelsea fans his talent in recent weeks, and has even dedicated one of his goals to current star Cole Palmer with his celebration recently.
