Explosion in Sevastopol: Smoke seen over Cape Fiolent

A strong explosion occurred today, July 4, in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol during the day. After the explosion, smoke was visible over Cape Fiolent, according to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.

According to the channel, smoke was seen in the area where a Russian electronic warfare system is located.

In response to the incident, the Russians have closed the Crimean Bridge.

Meanwhile, Russian propaganda channels claim that the explosion was allegedly related to the disposal of ammunition.

The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, explained the explosion by saying that the fleet had conducted a "training shot."

Explosions in Crimea

Ukrainian forces have repeatedly struck the temporarily occupied Crimea, targeting Russian military facilities on the peninsula.

Precisely, as reported by Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk, on July 1, Ukrainian aircraft hit an ammunition depot in Crimea.

Additionally, between June 22 and June 28, Ukrainian defenders attacked a rare target in Crimea, damaging the Space Tracking and Communication Center.
