Reese's and Kit Kat's new Halloween chocolate will get you excited for spooky season

Summer is in full swing, but we’re already getting excited for Halloween thanks to Reese’s and Kit Kat.

The chocolate bars are launching two new spooky-themed treats for 2024, and you’ll definitely want to try them.

Reese’s ‘Werewolf Tracks’ cup

For Halloween, Reese’s is releasing a brand new peanut butter cup across the US called ‘Werewolf Tracks’.

It has a layer of milk chocolate at the bottom and vanilla creme at the top, designed to look like werewolf footprints in the mud.

A picture of the packet was shared on Instagram by foodie Snackolator, which shows werewolf hands grabbing the snack.

According to him, the new Reese’s cups will come in both snack-size bags and regular packs and be available around Halloween.

Kit Kat’s Ghost Toast bar

If you’re more of a Kit Kat fan, an adorable new chocolate bar is coming for spooky season called Ghost Toast.

It features wafer covered in a light brown cinnamon toast-flavored creme, and is suspected to be launching in the fall.

The new flavor will supposedly be available in minis and full-sized bars and the packet is complete with a cute winking ghost.

The news comes as Krispy Kreme is launching their Kit Kat range for one extra week after it proved to be so popular.

Mars announced Halloween candy

Mars announced their Halloween candy at the end of June, including a new M&M’s flavor called Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie.

They have also redesigned the Snickers Pumpkins packaging for 2024, and loads of old favorites are returning.

That includes the Mars Wrigley mixed variety bags, Twix Ghoulish Green, Snickers Ghoulish Green and Snickers Fun Size Bucket.

The M&M’s Ghouls blend in Milk Chocolate, Peanut and Peanut Butter is coming back for spooky season too.

“At Mars, we celebrate Halloween every day, all year long,” said Tim LeBel, Chief Halloween Officer and President of Sales at Mars Wrigley North America.

“Our 2024 Mars Wrigley Halloween product line-up is a direct reflection of our consumer obsession and offers a playful blend of taste, creativity and on-trend seasonal offerings to deliver products we know will end up in the ‘good’ pile on Halloween night.”
