Reacting to comments made by the head of the conservative Heritage Foundation who suggested blood will be spilled if Donald Trump is not re-elected, former U.S. Attorney Joyce Vance stated his threat should be taken seriously.

During a recent appearance on the conservative outlet "Real America's Voice," Heritage president Kevin Roberts replied to a question about the upcoming election by ominously stating, “We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless ― if the left allows it to be."

Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Vance fired back at the man called the architect of the authoritarian Project 2025.

"That is what Project 2025 rejects," she lectured. "This notion [that] the revolution can be bloodless if the left allows it to be, it's nothing less than a threat to American democracy and should take it seriously.

"The problem is it is easy to set this aside as comments made by one man, but these are the comments made by the man who helms the Heritage Foundation, the man who wrote the introduction to Project 2025 which sets forth this very dark vision of America.

"That's not the America that many of us would want our children to grow up in."
