Drone attack damages military arfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk

The Russian city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk was attacked by drones. As a result, the military airfield was probably damaged, according to the ASTRA Telegram channel.

According to the channel, the attack damaged the airfield and resulted in one injured soldier.

In addition to the hit on the airfield, there was a strike on a power substation in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, causing power outages for some residents.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense traditionally stated that it had shot down 14 drones over the region, but kept silent about the hit to the military airfield and the power substation.

According to open sources, Primorsko-Akhtarsk is a joint-use airfield in the Krasnodar Krai. It is located on the northeastern outskirts of the city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The 960th Guards Assault Aviation Regiment (military unit 75387) is stationed there, part of the 1st Guards Mixed Aviation Division of the 4th Guards Air Force and Air Defense Army. The regiment is armed with Su-25, Su-25UB, and Su-25SM3 attack aircraft.

Drone attacks on infrastructure and military targets are becoming more frequent in Russia. As of today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already attacked more than 30 oil refineries, terminals and oil depots in Russia.

In particular, on the night of June 30, drones attacked Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions.

On the night of Friday, July 5, the Russian city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk was attacked by drones. Civilian objects were damaged as a result of falling debris in the city.
