Ministers from UK and Netherlands visit Odesa. Zelenskyy says there are good details

Today, on July 7, the Dutch ministers visited Odesa, namely Defense Minister Kaspar Veldkamp and Foreign Minister Ruben Brekelmans, as well as the new British Defense Minister John Healey, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President said that he had informed the ministers about the situation on the battlefield. He also said that during the meeting, they heard a report from Navy Commander Oleksii Neizhpapa.

"We will continue to strengthen the Ukrainian Navy together with Britain, together with the Netherlands - there are good new details of our cooperation," Zelenskyy emphasized.

He also said that he and the ministers had also discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defense.

"This is our absolute priority, and I am grateful for the readiness to take the next steps - in particular, regarding the F-16," the President said.

Earlier, during a press conference in Kyiv, Veldkamp said that the Netherlands did not rule out training of the Ukrainian military on the territory of Ukraine.

The Dutch Defense Minister also said that F-16s would be in Ukraine in the near future.
