Report: Tottenham are the most concrete option right now as £45m Premier League winger seeks summer exit

Tottenham are looking at a number of options to bolster their ranks this summer and could now be in pole position to sign one of the Premier League’s most in-demand talents.

Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou is expecting the club to ramp up operations in the transfer market after already bringing in Archie Gray and Timo Werner.

Lucas Bergvall is also a new signing having signed last season and he is expected to be part of the squad for this coming year.

However, Postecoglou still wants more. And he is keen to add more of a goal threat to his team.

A number of players are being linked, including Crystal Palace winger Ebere Eze.

And according to a report from GiveMeSport, Tottenham are also the most likely option for another Premier League player, Pedro Neto.

Tottenham are the most likely to sign Pedro Neto from Wolves

According to the report from GMS, Tottenham are keen on Neto and are considered the most concrete option.

The report, which comes courtesy of reliable journalist Ben Jacobs, suggests Wolves would like £60m for Neto if they are to sell.

At the moment, it’s claimed that Tottenham value Neto closer to the £45m mark, with his injuries in recent seasons a big reason why some clubs are a bit tentative.

Further, it’s suggested Arsenal also admire Neto still but their interest has stalled as they focus on other areas for now.

PSG, too, are also believed to have looked into Neto.

As mentioned on TBR previously, Neto’s agent is apparently working on a summer exit for him this year.

The young winger was part of the Portugal squad in the Euros this summer but had little impact on proceedings.

However, there remains a feeling within the game that the best could be to come from the 24-year-old, if he can indeed put the injuries behind him.

Quite whether Tottenham will be convinced to splash out a huge sum for Neto, remains to be seen.
