'Chernobyl' Is The Best Series Of All Time, According to IMDb

A few months ago, Breaking Badwas considered the best series of all time. Later on, the first position was held by Game of Thrones, even with the disappointmentfans felt after the last season. But just a couple of weeks after the end of GoT, the leader in the best series ranking is HBO's new production, Chernobyl.

IMDb users have given the series, which is inspired in the nuclear disaster that struck Ukraine in 1986, an almost perfect rating. The rating is based on how the TV show reveals unknown facts about the Chernobyl tragedy, such as the government conspiracy and the role of many of the people involved in the disaster's management. Chernobylis a miniseries of just five episodes running between 50 and 70 minutes each, but the story has hooked those viewers who felt empty after the Game of Thronesseries finale.

Who Still Lives In Chernobyl Regardless Of Danger?

Maybe the viewers have not forgotten those series that kept them on the edge of their seat, but Chernobyl's score is between 9.6 and 9.7 out of 10, and

Breaking Bad

and

Game of Thrones

are in the last positions of the top ten with 9.4 stars out of 10. In the third place, you can find

Rick and Morty

with 9.3, the same as

The Wire

; and

Avatar: The Last Airbender

with 9.2, a score they share with

The Sopranos.

We'll have to wait for the last episode to confirm if Chernobylreally is the best series of all time or if it was just the feeling of the moment, or the need to fill the void left behind byGame of Thrones. We are still only halfway through the year and will have to wait for some other productions that will come in the second half of 2019.
