The Stark Brothers Reunite As Harington and Madden Join The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Without being able to reunite in Westeros, the Stark brothers were given a second chance. The Marvel franchise is giving us the reunion we thought we would never see: Kit Harington and Richard Madden finally sharing scenes one more time. Though this time in a different production: The Eternals.

A few weeks ago, Marvel announced their plans for the MCU’s Phase 4 in which basically none of our favorite Avengers will no longer be a part of. However, there were new and exciting projects for all of us geeks to rejoice. One of this is The Eternals, a story that will introduce us to a new race of alien superhumans who will do anything to protect the Earth.

Madden and Harington will be joined by Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, and Kumail Nanjiani in this new production. And, if this wasn’t exciting enough, yesterday at Disney’s D23 Expo, it was confirmed that Harington, will play Dane Whitman (Black Knight), the villain of the story.

Madden and Harington aren’t the only Game of Thronesstars who have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) had a brief appearance in Captain America: The First Avengerand Peter Dinklage in Avengers: Infinity War. And let's not forget that our one and only Khaleesi (Emilia Clark) was almost casted to be Iron Man 3’s villain.

Now, though the Stark boys won’t be fighting hand in hand and despite the fact that we saw them together on screen for just one episode throughout the whole series, we GoT fans are excited to see them reunited after over a decade since that first episode. Perhaps the sad news of Spider-manbeing left out of the Universe can be eased a little bit with this great news.
