A 'Joker' Sequel Is In The Works

Jokerwas one of the most popular films this year and, despite the opinions of those who are against it getting a sequel, Warner Bros has confirmed that there will be a second part of this story, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The magazine shared that the film's director, Todd Phillips, got together with Warner Bros chairman Toby Emmerich, with the idea to get the rights to develop some of DC Comics' characters' origin stories.

Now that Jokerhas surpassed the $1 billion dollar mark, there's a sequel coming, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter. "As the movie keeps raking in money overseas, Phillips is in talks to reprise his role as director for a second Joker outing", said the magazine.
