Amazon Echo Auto launches in the UK and Ireland

Amazon Echo Auto has launched in the UK and Ireland. Now it's possible to have voice assistant Alexa with you when you are travelling by plugging in the box through the 12V power outlet or built-in USB port, audio jack cable or Bluetooth. Whilst driving, users can use Alexa to control music, get an update on the news, make phone calls and much more all whilst handsfree. The device costs £49.99 and it's connected to the internet via smartphone and uses data from the user's existing data plan. Amazon devices' EU vice president, Eric Saarnio, commented: "Customers tell us they want to take Alexa with them everywhere they go. We're delighted to offer them an easy way to add Alexa to the car they already own. "With Echo Auto, customers can now enjoy the convenience of Alexa on the road, giving them the ability to play music, make calls, continue their audiobook, play games, manage their reminders and more-all just by using their voice."
