Forrest Fenn's treasure found after decade-long hunt

A treasure chest containing $1m (£790,000) in gold and jewels has been found in the Rocky Mountains. Art dealer Forest Fenn sparked the decade-long hunt for the loot after publishing clues to its location in his autobiography, 'The Thrill of the Chase'. At least four people were killed looking for the treasure while many quit their jobs and spent their life savings hunting for the treasure in the American West. Fenn confirmed that the stash had been found - but kept its location and the identity of the hunter under wraps. He said: "The guy who found it does not want his name mentioned. He's from back East." Fenn added that he had mixed emotions about the hunt finally coming to an end. He remarked: "I don't know, I feel halfway kind of glad, halfway kind of sad because the chase is over."
