'Ghost of Tsushima' is getting a multiplayer mode in Autumn

'Ghost of Tsushima' is getting a multiplayer mode in Autumn!

The new mode is called 'Ghost of Tsushima: Legends', and was recently announced by Senior Game Designer Darren Bridges in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The multiplayer co-op mode won't be continuing the story of the main game's protagonist, Jin Saka: instead it will introduce four new characters which are based on the game's legends, and each has supernatural abilities.

These characters represent the four classes that gamers can choose to play as in the mode: the samurai, hunter, ronin, or assassin.

The mode is designed to be played by at least two people: players can either play the mode with their friends, or use online matchmaking to join other parties.

There are three types of missions in the new mode: four-player survival missions where gamers battle waves of enemies; co-op story missions made to be played by two users; and four-player raids in which players are sent "to an entirely new realm to challenge a brutal, terrifying enemy."
