Phil Spencer wants more third-party games on the Xbox Game Pass

The executive vice-president of Gaming at Microsoft has praised the subscription service in the past, previously stating that it has given the company "a larger creative canvas to build on".

While originally the Xbox Game Pass focused mostly on big first-party games, more third-party games have been added to it recently: with 'Battletoads' and 'Grounded' being examples of this.

Now Phil Spencer has stated that he wants "many more" third-party games to be added to the service in the future.

He wrote on Twitter: "in addition to all our first party games arriving day and date to @xboxgamepass - the team is focused on bringing many more third party games as well to the service"
