Call of Duty: Warzone team have 'lots of ideas' for freight train

The 'Call of Duty: Warzone' team has "lots of ideas" for the freight train.

The new addition to the map was introduced during for Season 5, with players and teams able to hop on board the moving train to find loot, and it's become a popular area for in-game skirmishes.

Infinity Ward is glad to take this first step, and now the developer is keen to add additional features in the future.

Speaking to Red Bull, multiplayer director Joe Cecot said: "We have lots of ideas around [the train].

"We wanted to get it in there in Season Five and have it be a fun thing to interact with, where you have a lot of movie moments of vehicles chasing trains, people fighting over the train, [that sort of thing]."

He admitted the team have a "bunch of ideas around now to use the train for different [game] modes", although he didn't reveal anything more concrete.

Raven Software's creative director Amos Hedge added there are "lots of ideas to update the train in general".

He explained: "Everyone has so many ideas on how to make the train better, so many mechanics and game modes.

"We're definitely talking about all that stuff, reading Reddit and seeing suggestions and everyone's just excited about it.

"Not only the train but we've been excited to get more interactive elements in the map like that, to make the map feel more alive."
