There likely won't be more 'Kingdom Hearts' games coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The franchise's upcoming rhythm game 'Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory' is coming to the console on November 11th (as well as PS4 and Xbox One) and is currently available to pre-order.

However, fans who were hoping that this would mean that this could lead to the other games in the franchise coming to the Nintendo Switch have been given some bad news.

Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura revealed during an interview with Nintendo Enthusiast that there are currently no plans to bring any of the previous games in the popular franchise to the console, and they also aren't currently planning to release any new 'Kingdom Hearts' games onto the Switch either.

Apparently Square Enix had considered creating Nintendo Switch versions of previous games in the series, but it proved to be too difficult to achieve.
