A PS5 showcase event has been announced for this month!
A new event about the next-gen console has recently been announced: and PlayStation fans won't have long to wait!
The showcase is set to take place on Wednesday September 16th.
The event was announced on the official PlayStation blog, with Sony stating that it will be "around 40 minutes" long.
Many people are hoping that the exact price and release date for the upcoming console will be announced, and while Sony hasn't officially confirmed this, they did say the showcase will give gamers "one more look at some of the great games coming to PS5 at launch (and beyond!)".
The blog post went on to add that it will "feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and [Sony's] world-class development partners".
The showcase will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch at 9pm BST (which is 1pm PDT and 10pm CEST).
