'Resident Evil: Village' gets a spooky new trailer

The second trailer 'Resident Evil: Village' has been unveiled: and it looks super spooky!

The title will be the eighth game in the popular gaming franchise, and the new trailer for the highly-anticipated title was unveiled during Sony's PS5 showcase on September 16th.

When the first trailer was released, it seemed that the upcoming game would be focusing on more supernatural elements than the previous games with a glimpse of a werewolf: and this new trailer has seemingly confirmed other creepy supernatural elements that will appear in the game.

We get to see an old witch, as well as a cult trying to summon something, there's also an eerie-looking castle and a dark scary forest.

The new trailer also features Mia (a returning character) telling a story about a girl going to pick berries for her father in "the forest deep"; with the animation alongside it giving the trailer a dark fairytale vibe.

'Resident Evil: Village' is set to be released in 2021: but a specific release date has not yet been announced.
