'Cyberpunk 2077's story mode will be shorter than 'The Witcher 3'
The highly-anticipated title is being developed and published by CD Projekt Red: the company behind the popular Witcher franchise.
However, while many RPGs seem to pride themselves on being quite long when it comes to their campaign mode, it seems 'Cyberpunk 2077' isn't taking the same approach.
In fact, it has been revealed that it will be shorter than 'The Witcher 3'. Senior quest designer Patrick K. Mills said during an interview with streamers Cohn Carnage, Alanah Pearce, and Deejay Knight after the latest Night City Wire stream: "the main story run in Cyberpunk 2077 is slightly shorter than The Witcher 3 because we got a lot of complaints about Witcher 3's main story just being too long."
He also added that while many people have played the game, there is a high number of people that have not made it to the end, and went on to say: "We want you to see the full story, so we did shorten the main story, but we have lots to do."
