The singer had a kidney transplant in 2017 and was left with a large scar, something she would always try to cover up but now she feels much more "confident" in her skin.
Modelling a swimsuit from the brand LA'MARIETTE, she wrote on Instagram: When she got my kidney transplant, she remembers it being very difficult to show her scar at first and she didn't want it showing in photos to would cover it up.
However, she now more than ever feels confident in who she is and what she went through and is proud of that.
Selena then congratulated the brand for what they are doing for women and sending their message of 'all bodies are beautiful'.
