'Resident Evil Village' could be released onto current-gen consoles too

'Resident Evil Village' could be released onto current-gen consoles as well as next-gen.

The highly-anticipated title is expected to be released sometime next year, and will be available to play on PC as well as next-gen consoles.

However, it has been revealed that the game could be coming to current-gen consoles too.

Tsuyoshi Kanda (the game's producer) said during a panel at the Tokyo Game Show that although the game "is being developed specifically for next-generation consoles and PC", it turns out that Capcom are also "looking into delivering the experience on Xbox One and PS4" too!

However, Kanda also admitted that they "can't make any promises" that this will definitely happen.

But he did also insist that Capcom "will do [their] best in creating a top-tier survival horror experience on current generation consoles".
