UK Police have been encouraged to download the NHS Covid-19 app
Police in England and wales have been told to download the new track and trace Covid App on their personal smartphones.
Officers at first were told not to download the app on any device, but now the NPCC has changed their views after seeing the impact of the app.
The app will be downloaded on officers' smart phones and can be used while they are working.
The app uses Bluetooth satellite to trace and track which is turned off on their work phones.
