‘Godfall’ won’t have an offline mode
The upcoming fantasy game is being created by Gearbox and Counterplay Games, and is set to be released on November 12th as an Epic Games store exclusive.
The game will have both a co-op and single-player mode: however, it turns out that it can’t be played without an internet connection, even if you’re not aiming to play with other gamers.
A post by the game’s official Twitter page insisted that it “is not a service game”, however they also confirmed that “it does require an internet connection to play”.
Some have people have speculated that this may be an attempt to stop people from cheating in the game, although this has not been officially confirmed.
