Phil Spencer teases potential 1 v 100 trivia game revival for Xbox Series X.

The beloved 2009 Xbox 360 game could be set for a comeback, after head of Xbox Phil Spencer teased that Microsoft plans to "build our own trivia game".

Although 1 v 100 was not specifically mentioned, Spencer brought up the news of the trivia game as he took part in an Xbox FanFest livestream on Friday.

The livestream was meant to feature an interactive trivia experience but due to technical difficulties, it no longer went ahead - leading to Spencer revealing the trivia project.

Speaking in the Xbox FanFest livestream, Spencer said: "I just want to say, when our teams are trying to do new things that we’ve never done before, I want to be 100 percent behind those things, sometimes they’ll turn out amazing, sometimes they’ll be good learning experiences for us,

"But for all the fans who have been on this with us, we’re going to make it good with you guys. We don’t know exactly what it is yet, so thanks for hanging with us during this and our little experiment, we'll learn.

"Maybe we should even be building our own trivia game, like from our past, that allows people to play a trivia game more often, maybe that could happen.

"I just want to thank everybody for putting up with this tonight but also being with us when we're trying to do something new because I just think it's cool that we tried."
