The pre-sales for ‘Shadowlands’ are the highest for any ‘World of Warcraft’ expansion so far

The expansion is set to be released on November 23rd: marking the 16th anniversary of ‘World Of Warcraft’.

And Activision Blizzard CEO Robert Kotick revealed in a recent earnings call that it already seems to be a huge success, as he stated: “Pre-sales of the upcoming Shadowlands expansion are the highest we've seen at this stage ahead of any release.”

But that’s not all, Activision Blizzard COO Daniel Alegre also pointed out in the call that “franchise engagement is at its highest level for this stage ahead of an expansion in a decade”.
