More ‘Resident Evil Village’ features have been revealed

More details about how ‘Resident Evil Village’ will run on the PlayStation 5 have been revealed.

The next installment in the popular franchise is set to be released onto Sony’s next-gen console in 2021, and the official product page on the PlayStation website has been updated to announce some of the features the title will have when running on the PS5.

The page states that the game will have “stunning visuals” since it will support Dynamic 4K as well as Ray Tracing.

It will also feature ‘Haptic Feedback’, which will apparently “simulate the feeling of firing a real gun”.

According to the website, it will also support Tempest 3D AudioTech when players use compatible headphones, which “enhances the experience by making you feel the hair-raising sounds coming from every direction.”

Sony also stated that the controllers ‘Adaptive Triggers’ will allow gamers to “feel the weight and pull of weapon triggers for an even more immersive experience”.

Another feature is that players won’t have to deal with slow loading screens, due to “the PS5 console's ultra-high speed SSD”.
