Overwatch League: Hangzhou Spark Signs Lige

The Hangzhou Spark adds Jia "LiGe" Chengjie to their Overwatch League roster.


The Hangzhou Spark signs a second tank player for the Overwatch League 2021 Season: Jia "LiGe" Chengjie.

Jia "LiGe" Chengjie makes his debut in the Overwatch League by joining the Hangzhou Spark this season. The off-tank player started slowly in the Overwatch Contenders China. He hovered at the lower tier of the Contenders 2018 and 2019; respectively with Super Number One and Big Time Regal Gaming.

2020 was a huge turnover in the career of the Chinese player. LiGe joined Team CC, the academy team of Shanghai Dragons in Overwatch Contenders China. The team was one of the best of the 2020 season. LiGe and Team CC placed second in the NetEase Esports X Tournament, dominated the Contenders 2020 China Season 2 Regular Season before bowing in the Grand Finals to Flag Gaming.

LiGe specializes in off-tank heroes, such as D.Va and Zarya. He will play alongside Xu "guxue" Qiulin, the main tank of the team. Guxue has been with the Hangzhou Spark for over two years and has the experience needed to help LiGe reveal his potential.
