CoD: LA Thieves Announce JKap As Head Coach

After retiring from professional play at the end of the 2020 season, JKap has been announced as the coach of LA Thieves.

After a tough 2020 season, Jordan “JKap” Kaplan announced his retirement from professional Call of Duty. However, as one of the longest competing players, first participating in a tournament all the way back in COD 4: Modern Warfare, JKap is seen as one of the best players of all time. Many fans expected him to move to a coaching role in the future, and today it has finally been announced.

LA Thieves joined the Call of Duty League in early November and only revealed three starters and a sub. JKap will be coaching Austin “Slasher” Liddicoat, Kenny “Kenny” Williams, Thomas “TJHaly” Haly, substitute Zack “Drazah” Jordan and one other. As a back to back Call of Duty World Champion, JKap is more than qualified for this coaching role. He will use his vast expertise to improve this LA Thieves squad.

JKap has been part of some of the most memorable organizations in Call of Duty history. These including OpTic Gaming, Envy, FaZe Clan, Denial, Luminosity, eUnited and Evil Geniuses. Owned by Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag’s 100 Thieves, the LA Thieves are yet another memorable name within the Call of Duty scene. Fans should most certainly be excited about JKaps arrival.
